Accounting Manager

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee accounting activities
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Develop accounting memos
  • Assist with acquisition accounting and transaction structuring
  • Develop and document internal controls
  • Assist with annual audits and corrections
  • Develop quarterly GAAP financial statements
  • Prepare financial information analysis
  • Oversee and organize billing

 

Requirements:

  • MAcct preferred
  • CPA license
  • Public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
