Credit & Collections Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Credit & Collections Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Supervise and train staff
  • Help resolve credit and collection issues
  • Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements
  • Prepare write offs and quarterly bad debt
  • Assess credit risk
  • Provide A/R reporting and analytics

 

Requirements:

  • Certified credit professional accreditation is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of CEI and DSO
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
