Lead Cost Accountant

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for a Lead Cost Accountant to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Analyze data collected and record results
  • Analyze changes to determine effects on cost
  • Record cost information
  • Assist with audits
  • Assist in Month end close of the GL
  • Conduct physical inventories and monitor cycle count program
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Determine standard cost and analyze variances

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Sage, SAP, Hyperion experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
