Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Help maintain the vendor/supplier files by performing regular audits
  • Help maintain all accounts payable files
  • Open, date stamp, and process incoming invoices
  • Code and voucher invoices once proper backup and approvals are obtained
  • Prepare daily check run
  • Prepare checks for mailing or overnight delivery
  • Prepare accounts payable reports
  • Help maintain all payables files



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
