Payroll Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Assist with ADP to maintain integration for garnishments and payroll tax
  • Help process commissions, bonuses, and special pays on or off pay cycles
  • Assist managers for payroll recording and time clocks maintenance
  • Manage and maintain payroll email inbox
  • Help balance and audit payroll data
  • Assist with research and engage in special projects
  • Assist HR and HRIS to ensure accurate data flow to payroll
  • Assist with 401K and Workers’ Compensation audits

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Detail-oriented

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
