Interim Payroll Analyst(Project)

Our client in the service companyi ndustry is looking for an Interim  Payroll Analyst to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and process biweekly and weekly payroll
  • Process weekly Timekeeping records
  • Responsible for maintaining employee payroll records
  • Process manual checks
  • Prepare General Ledger journal entries
  • Help monitor account and follow up with employees
  • Respond to employees with any payroll and timesheet questions
  • Write and update desktop procedures
  • Participate in internal and external audits

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
