Senior Payroll Specialist

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team in San Gabriel Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Update payroll records by approving self-service changes
  • Balance bi-weekly reconciliation payroll worksheet
  • Prepare various reports and queries for internal business partners
  • Responsible for processing commissions and incentives within payroll
  • Assist in providing legal request information and other payroll-related inquiries
  • Assist HR and Benefits personnel to resolve issues related to onboarding new employees and process employee terminations
  • Assist end users by answering questions

 

Requirements:

  • CPP credential preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
