Senior Accountant

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with monthly close activities
  • Help analyze accounting results, investigate variances and document findings
  • Perform reviews of staff accountant work
  • Manage general ledger
  • Assist with audit activities
  • Develop accounting staff members in accounting procedures

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
