Assistant Vice President Budgeting and Operations

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Assistant Vice President Budgeting and Operations to join their team in the Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review monthly corporate financial statements
  • Assist in providing explanations to non-accounting colleagues
  • Help reconcile budgets to cash budgets
  • Update budget and forecasts throughout the year with actual data
  • Assist in monitoring budget to actual expenses

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license preferred
  • Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
