Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles.

 

Job Description:

  • Record monthly financial closing entries
  • Perform reconciliations and settle balances
  • Document policy and procedures
  • Assist with annual budget and quarterly forecast process
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Update work paper and rollforward schedules
  • Assist with special projects

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
