Accounting Coordinator

Our client in the energy industry is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Provide detailed analyses and explanations of assigned transactions.
  • Help input vendor invoice data in the company’s automated A/P processing system
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Perform daily banking procedures
  • Assist with annual external audits
  • Assist with inventory fulfillment and management
  • Help analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare account analyses and reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
