Accounting Manager Private Equity Funds

Our client in the investment company industry is looking for an Accounting Manager Private Equity Funds to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and maintain the books and records of pooled private investment funds organized
  • Help record and reconcile of purchase and sale transactions
  • Perform estimate and post of monthly closing accruals
  • Calculate income and expense allocations to each partner
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships/accounts
  • Coordinate with funds’ independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers and fund administrators

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
