Accounting Manager, Real Estate Fund Accounting

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Accounting Manager, Real Estate Fund Accounting to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Maintain the books and records of investment funds
  • Reconcile cash, investments and real property
  • Reconcile purchase and sale transactions
  • Post monthly closing accruals
  • Calculate income and expense allocations
  • Determine and prepare distributions and draw-downs
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Analyze and calculate performance metrics
  • Performing other tasks as required

 

Requirements:

  • CPA a plus
  • Big Four public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
