Accounting Manager

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Accounting Manager  to join their team in Yolo County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform monthly cash reconciliation, reconcile bank accounts, identify and resolve bank adjustments and discrepancies
  • Prepare budget, proper expenditure coding, document preparation, and other accounting-related activities
  • Perform and maintain financial duties
  • Prepare various financial reports
  • Develop and document accounting procedures
  • Assist with implementation; incorporate changes in financial reporting standards report templates
  • Help reconcile, record, monitor, and account for tax revenues, fines, and fees; monitor and respond to delinquency issues
  • Assist, advise, and communicate with other managers on accounting, financial, and budget concerns
  • Perform analytical review of activities, monitor, evaluate, and provide professional guidance to payroll
  • Manage, assign, monitor, evaluate, and provide professional and technical guidance

 

Requirements:

    • CPA license preferred
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP
    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
    • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
    • Able to adapt to changing priorities
    • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
    • Detail-oriented
    • Strong work ethic

     

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
