Accounting & Reporting Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Accounting & Reporting Manager to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Prepare monthly analysis of cost of services and operational expenses
  • Responsible for analyzing financial performance against business metrics
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Provide risk explanations and solutions
  • Help record cash and card transactions
  • Prepare financial forecasts and reports
  • Manage discrepancies and identify/explain variances
  • Manage GL transactions
  • Develop and issue tax returns
  • Assist with contract and invoice management
  • Assist with document control
  • Oversee coordination of client invoices
  • Responsible for training, developing and mentoring staff



  • CPA license
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Great Plains experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
