Assistant Accounting Manager

Our client in the manufacturing company industry is looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee all internal accounting entities
  • Assist in maintaining Quick Books and excel allocation files
  • Help process expenses and maintain any expenses
  • Process capital calls and distributions
  • Review preparation of IAE year-end financial statements by third-party administrator
  • Coordinate year-end audit
  • Coordinate and review preparation of tax returns and estimated tax payments
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, tax and operations department
  • Setup new bank or custody accounts
  • Coordinate FATCA reporting

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
