Assistant Vice President Accounting Policy

Our client in the service companies industry is looking for a Assistant Vice President Accounting Policy to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Review of new products and documentation of accounting conclusions
  • Prepare and review reinsurance transactions
  • Develop strong working relationships with finance professionals
  • Perform audit procedures, technical accounting and/or reporting
  • Help analyze complex transactions
  • Develop presentations for use by senior management


  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SAP, SEC, IFRS
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
