Our client in the investment company industry is looking for a Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting and Operations to join their team in Los Angeles County


Job Description:

  • Serve as a key Fund Accounting & Operations contact to provide streamlined accounting and related information to users across the organization
  • Formulate, define and implement improvements to fund accounting processes and operations
  • Help identify areas for process improvement, streamlined operations, enhanced controls, standardized templates and areas to further leverage technology
  • Assist with other departments across to enhance data management / distribution, communicate fund data across the organization
  • Oversee the annual financial statement and compliance audits


  • Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
