AVP Fund Accounting

Our client in the investment companies industry is looking for an AVP Fund Accounting to join their team in Los Angeles.

 

Job Description:

  • Ensure funds are being accounted
  • Prepare and maintain books and records
  • Oversee daily cash and asset reconciliation breaks
  • Ensure investments are properly hedged
  • Oversee the postings of complex corporate actions
  • Calculate income and expense allocations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to clients
  • Analyze and calculate performance metrics for accounts

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
