Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a CAO-Controller to join their team in the San Fernando Valley


Job Description:

  • Oversee the general ledger functions
  • Help review, analyze and interpret all financial reports
  • Assist with accounting and tax implications for all material business decisions
  • Manage financial reporting and present findings
  • Prepare quarterly reports to the Board of Directors, Audit and Disclosure Committees
  • Manage the Company’s SEC filing requirements
  • Lead and direct the work of others within the department
  • Help establish and maintain the organization’s accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Coordinate all tax preparation and tax review activities
  • Perform technical accounting analysis
  • Manage external auditors and the quarterly review and annual audit of the financial statements
  • Assist with debt, equity and M&A transactions


  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
