Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the nonprofit industry is looking for an Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Los Angeles County


Job Description:

  • Oversee the annual budget process
  • Prepare the budget, revisions and fiscal activities
  • Prepare negotiation packages for governmental agencies
  • Ensure and oversee the fiscal compliance and management with contracts
  • Assist various departments
  • Develop direct reports
  • Train management to problem solve using financial data
  • Ensure agency cash and agency insurance coverage
  • Manage and develop a system to increase revenues
  • Ensure federal, state, county reports are completed/submitted
  • Oversee the management of the agency’s computer and data systems



  • Experience in social services or related industries preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines

  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
