Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Controller to join their team in Los Angeles County.


Job Description:

  • Oversee AP, AR, and accounting operations
  • Assist with tax compliance needs
  • Review and approve annual budgets and projections
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Monitor performance of financial employees
  • Maintain external relationships with banking and insurance executives
  • Ensure the timely reporting of financial information
  • Ensure the timely reporting of profit & loss statements and balance sheets
  • Perform bank account reconciliations



  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of (Number) years’ relevant experience
