Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Controller to join their team in the San Mateo County


Job Description:

  • Manage accounting functions, GL activity, cash management and financial reporting
  • Oversee tax activities, audit processes, AP/AR and payroll
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist with due diligence and preparing budgets
  • Oversee/measure actual performance vs. budgets



  • CPA license preferred
  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Experience in life sciences preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
