Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team in the Los Angeles County.


Job Description:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare internal financial reporting packages
  • Assist with regulatory filings
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Analyze financial statement fluctuations
  • Coordinate forecast vs actual quarterly fluctuation analysis
  • Assist with audits
  • Help document accounting policies and procedures



  • CPA license preferred
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Great Plains is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
