Fund Analyst

Our client in the investment company industry is looking for a Fund Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare, review and analyze the fund accounting processes
  • Help monitor and review all fund related expenses and accruals
  • Provide direction for proper posting of investment related activities
  • Prepare and review invoices and wire payments
  • Help review management fee and incentive/carry fee calculations
  • Help review and approve quarterly financial statements and workbooks
  • Oversee audit and tax engagements along with fund administrators
  • Assist in setting up new funds and separately managed accounts
  • Assist with fund performance evaluation
  • Prepare valuations/pricing, statement of cash flows, and IRR returns
  • Assist with coverage of other funds

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
