Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Manage and collect open accounts receivables
  • Process and record account payments
  • Perform account updates and changes
  • Process credit applications
  • Prepare analysis and other administrative reports
  • Maintain account files and information
  • Perform day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities
  • Review all invoices and payment requests for appropriate documentation and approvals
  • Maintain clear and detailed records of previous payments
  • Maintain strong communication with vendors and respond to vendor inquiries



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
