Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Process invoices into computer system
  • Process check requests and tax payments
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation
  • Print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks
  • Distribute signed checks
  • Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files
  • Assist in monthly closings
  • Prepare analysis of accounts



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Yardi skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
