Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare purchase orders within accounting system and update
  • Help record Invoices from suppliers and vendors
  • Input and update vendor and customer information
  • Process semiweekly check run package
  • Prepare sales invoices and send to customers
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual sales tax filings for several states
  • Prepare credit applications and resale certifications
  • Assist with special projects

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
