Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County

Job Description:

  • Review and enter payment application and invoices
  • Help track Contractor lien releases, preliminary notices, and insurance certificates
  • Perform day to day financial transactions
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Help reconcile the accounts payable ledger
  • Prepare weekly cash reports
  • Prepare annual 1099 vendor report



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Yardi skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
