Interim Bookkeeper (Project)

Our client in the nonprofit industry is looking for an Interim Bookkeeper to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and finance requirements
  • Preform audit and approve invoices
  • Perform weekly AP check runs
  • Monitor office expenses and log and enter cash receipts
  • Prepare payroll and manage various benefits
  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis
  • Help reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare journal entries and postings to the general ledger
  • Help maintain accurate and timely records

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
