Interim Collections Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Collections Specialist to join their team in San Mateo County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform collection calls and correspondence
  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary
  • Help enlist the efforts of sales and service management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
  • Help establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Help process monthly credit memos and the appropriate reporting
  • Manage customers on the credit hold report
  • Help reconcile customer disputes of outstanding balances

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Oracle skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
