Interim Construction Accountant (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim Construction Accountant to join their team in Orange County

Job Description:

  • Daily invoice and data entry
  • Sort, organize, and process subcontract payable invoices and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate vendor information
  • Record cost information
  • Assist in streamlining the accounts payable process
  • Assist accounting and estimating staff
  • Receive approved corporate card receipts from employees, compile coding, file receipts and process transactions
  • Enter inventory material transfers
  • Assist with the month-, quarter- and year-end closings

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
