Interim Grant Accountant (Project)

Our client in the nonprofit industry is looking for an Interim Grant Accountant to join their team in Alameda County

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for booking, reconciling and tracking all fixed assets
  • Prepare, submit and maintain database of all property tax filings
  • Prepare internal and external reporting and reconciling all accounts
  • Oversee all financial aspects
  • Assist Controller with development and maintenance of internal controls and policies and procedures
  • Help coordinate and resolve various issues with bank

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the nonprofit industry
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
