Interim Investment Operations Accountant (Project)

Our client in the investment banking industry is looking for an Interim Investment Operations Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Help reconcile daily account transactions for equities, fixed income and bank loans
  • Help identify, analyze and resolve client account discrepancies
  • Prepare Excel solutions for related data references and tracking
  • Help train as primary backup for system support
  • Assist with processing monthly/quarterly/annual client statements and reporting
  • Assist with Operations related projects/upgrades
  • Participate in the onboarding and training of other employees
  • Perform some administrative functions
  • Assist with additional functions related to securities data management

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
