Interim Payroll Manager (Project)

Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the Payroll department
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all departments
  • Responsible for modifying and enforcing the payroll processing schedule
  • Administer and control the adjustment pay and termination pay process
  • Develop and maintain reporting payroll data
  • Take lead role for all payroll department reporting, data analysis and audit projects
  • Monitor reconciliation of garnishments, tax levies, general deductions and payroll-related employment inquiries
  • Recommend and implement updates to the payroll system

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in non-profit industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
