Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with processing payroll accurately to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Maintain precise payroll records
  • Process and verify employee payroll changes
  • Support company’s retirement plan and ensure timely processing
  • Maintain control of company payroll files with strict confidentiality
  • Maintain payroll filing system
  • Resolve questions as they relate to the processing of payroll information

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
