Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Responsible for ensuring prevailing wage compliance with all public works projects
  • Review and audit certified payroll and compliance documentation and analyze data
  • Set up and maintain calculation
  • Prepare fringe benefit statements
  • Prepare and respond to audit



  • Experience in the construction or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
