Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Help process certified payroll on a weekly basis
  • Prepare and process timely submission of weekly payroll
  • Help process of Garnishments weekly
  • Prepare monthly Union Reports
  • Update employee address, direct deposit info, deductions, etc.
  • File and scan documents



  • CPP certification preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
