Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the energy industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Process payroll throughout the entire payroll life-cycle
  • Help review time reported, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
  • Analyze and conduct audits, run reports, respond to payroll related questions
  • Assist with annual audits, quarterly reviews and month end closing projects
  • Maintain reporting for executive team and managers
  • Prepare audit materials for Internal and External audit controls
  • File and archive documents

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
