Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage payroll process and performs accounting-related tasks
  • Prepare payroll data
  • Help process weekly transfer of payroll data
  • Pull many internal management reports
  • Analyze, prepare and input payroll data
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
  • Perform various journal entries, account reconciliations, and General Ledger support

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
