Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for an Interim APayroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Perform all labor compliance duties associated with public works
  • Prepare and submit certified payroll reports, update prevailing wage rates and fringes for various trades, upload weekly payrolls
  • Prepare fringe benefit statements
  • Responsible for execution and monitoring of all Certified Payroll projects.
  • Assist in various HR tasks, apprentice training program and annual audits



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
