Interim Purchasing Specialist (Project)

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for an Interim Purchasing Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare bid documents, the review and award of bids
  • Update internal databases with order details
  • Perform market research to identify pricing trends
  • Help maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
  • Prepare cost analyses
  • Prepare all necessary materials, reports
  • Oversee deliveries at main distribution site, distribute orders to requisitioning staff
  • Help reconcile vendor invoices & statements

Requirements:

  • Experience in the healthcare, medical or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum 1 years’ relevant experience
