Interim SEC Consultant (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim SEC Consultant to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform walkthroughs/test of design, executing tests of operating effectiveness
  • Perform root cause and impact analysis for findings, validating findings with process owners and proposing recommendations
  • Assist with monitoring of management’s remediation activities
  • Oversee the defining the scope of operational audit assignments based on an analysis of business risks
  • Develop and deliver on objectives contained in the annual Audit Plan
  • Support and provide input on projects/standards/audit guides

 

Requirements:

  • CPA, CIA, or CISA license
  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
