Interim SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager (Project)

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Interim SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager to join their team in Alameda County.

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee external SEC financial reporting process
  • Assist with quarterly management reporting packages
  • Manage earnings and scripts
  • Prepare quarter-end data
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions
  • Oversee due diligence and purchase price accounting
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly bank compliance requirements
  • Manage reporting timelines and scheduling quarterly meetings;
  • Prepare documentation to support audit requests

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
