Interim SEC Reporting Consultant (Project)

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Interim SEC Reporting Consultant to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Coordinate work papers to support information in SEC Filings
  • Ensure press releases and scripts are consistent with SEC filings
  • Prepare quarterly reporting calendars
  • Assist auditors on financial reporting workpapers
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for the company’s SEC filings
  • Advise on new US GAAP accounting ordinance and SEC regulations
  • Research technical accounting matters raised across the organization
  • Assist with preparation of whitepapers and memos
  • Help coordinate external auditor sign off

 

Requirements:

  • MBA a plus
  • CPA license
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
