Interim Senior Payroll Administrator (Project)

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team in Denver


Job Description:

  • Oversee the payroll process and maintain the weekly and bi-monthly payrolls
  • Assist HR and Benefits during the development of policies and benefits to guide and advise
  • Process weekly payrolls
  • Complete payroll audits
  • Assist with compensation requests
  • Review and analyze current payroll, timekeeping and tax procedures to recommend and implement changes
  • Responsible for the compilation and system set up of pay, deductions, benefits and accruals
  • Perform, facilitate, support various internal and external audits
  • Assist in the Compensation process and administration



  • Certified Payroll Professional preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
