Interim Vice President of Finance (Project)

Our client in the nonprofit industry is looking for an Interim Vice President of Finance to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Develop, review, monitor and evaluate the fiscal impact of government grants on clinical services
  • Oversee the management of cash transactions
  • Oversee the closing of financial books on a monthly, quarterly and annual year-end basis
  • Oversee negotiation and performance of purchasing and vendor contracts
  • Oversee administration of purchasing policies and practices
  • Develop the agency operating and capital budgets,
  • Manage all tax planning and compliance

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA and/or CMA license
  • Experience in the healthcare, nonprofit or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
