Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting to join their team inSanta Barbara County
Job Description:
- Responsible for the support of internal and external financial reporting and technical accounting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Prepare schedules and reports in support of internal and external financial reporting
- Assist with technical accounting and reporting projects in terms of research, documentation and implementation
- Assist with monthly close tasks related to areas requiring judgment and estimation
Requirements:
- CPA license preferred
- Public/Big 4 accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Able to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- A team player
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
