Manager, Technical Accounting & Reporting

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Manager, Technical Accounting & Reporting to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Assist mergers and acquisitions cycle
  • Manage contracts
  • Oversee system changes
  • Assist external auditors to ensure SOX compliance
  • Assist with training
  • Oversee quarterly and annual reports
  • Manage staff recruitment, advancement and termination
  • Oversee labor
  • Help mentor and coach team members

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical accounting research and assessments
  • CPA license or eligibility a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
