Payroll Accountant

Our client in the energy industry is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Process semi-monthly payroll
  • Assist with the review of PTO
  • Process expense reimbursements
  • Resolve payroll issues
  • Record journal entries in the general ledger
  • Update payroll files
  • Perform account reconciliations

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
